Real Life Workers Compensation Stories

I recently came across a website that contains valuable information for injured workers and their attorneys. I came upon one section that recited stories from actual workers who were injured on the job in Virginia.  I thought I would pass it along:

  1. Factor Worker sustains a back injury in small town Virginia -- This woman's story offers insight into how important medical treatment, with providers who understand work injuries, is to injured workers.
  2. Injured worker with back and leg pain and nerve damage from work related accident -- This story represents how the importance of understanding pain, its causes and pain's impact on an injured worker's life.
  3. Slip and Fall at work -- It is sometimes hard to imagine how the smallest details -- like a water leak -- can have such far reaching consequences for injured workers.
  4. Broken Hand -- Even normal activities, like operating a drill as normal, can cause severe injuries.

From back injuries to hand injuries and everything in between, thousands of workers are injured each year and face challenging state and federal laws.
